need for neutrals | 2014 trend alert

I couldn't resist putting together a trend alert centered around my favorite colors -- NEUTRALS! Seriously though, my entire closet is made up of white, black and gray (ok...mostly gray). And I dress my little the same way. For my birthday, one of my dear friends gave me a bright yellow scarf that she had made...insisting that I need to add some color to my wardrobe! I stick with neutrals 99% of the time because they match everything -- you can add any accessory -- jewelry, shoes, bag, etc. and you'll still look put together and mature. 
So I put these pieces together as my favorite neutral items for your littles this winter & spring.

As soon as I saw the kitten pajamas (#5), I had to scoop them up for Olivia for next fall. I got 35% off plus used gapCash, so talk about a good deal! 

The leopard print flutter dress (#4) is also adorable, I can see V wearing it this summer, running around outside in it with the sunshine shining on her and a perfect summer breeze. 

The grey V-neck button up cardigan (#1) is sold in both the baby boy and baby girl section on the gap website, as are the gray marled sweat pants (#10) and I totally think both are gender neutral enough that V could pull 'em off. The cardigan would be adorable over a bright pink dress this Spring and the sweats are perfect for any day your babe spends loungin' around the house. 

Finally, if I had a little boy, you can bet I would've purchased the hooded one piece (#7) because it is just too cute to be passed up!
