shop spotlight || hello sunday

I absolutely love finding cozy pajamas for Olivia, especially ones that are warm and super soft on her skin, knowing how cold it can get around here especially as late fall and early winter settle in. Today's Shop Spotlight is all about a shop with handmade organic pajamas, perfect for cooler weather and cozy nights -- Hello Sunday.

Hello Sunday is owned by Andrea, who I've had the pleasure of collaborating with for quite some time now. It was so much fun to see her vision from many months ago when we first started chatting, come to fruition in the form of these gorgeous organic pajamas.

what shop hello sunday is known for || organic pajama sets in hip and fresh designs / mix and match holiday pajama sets made with 100% supersoft organic cotton

what sets hello sunday apart || modern fabric + design, high quality organic cotton, handmade craftsmanship

my favorite products || charcoal clouds [gender neutral] / blush arrows [baby girl] / blue stripe [baby boy]

There are so many things I love about these pajamas. First off, I love the modern design. The charcoal clouds were at the top of my list when Andrea asked which ones I had my eye on. They are simple, classy and the perfect gender neutral pajama. It is not often that I am drawn toward super bright colors and patterns, much of which is all you can find in stores these days. The simple and sophisticated designs are what catch my eye. I also love her Mix and Match concept -- you can choose different tops and bottoms to go together, which is super fun and allows for some creativity.

Secondly, I love the fact that these pajamas are a two-piece set -- a long sleeve top and a pair of matching bottoms. So many pajamas you see in stores are one-pieces, or have footies on the bottom, or have twenty buttons to button or fifty snaps to snap. My opinion? Too much work, especially if you are changing a diaper at 3 in the morning. I love how comfortable Olivia is when she wears two piece sets -- room to play, move and groove. Because let's be honest, most days the first few hours after waking are spent in our pajamas. It's basically an unwritten rule that breakfast is eaten while wearing pajamas. Preferably after 10am.

Finally, I love that these are made of 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is not only better for the environment, but it is super soft for your little one's skin. It keeps Olivia warm without overheating her and it has the right amount of stretch and snug fit to make your babe feel cozy but not restricted. I ended up sizing up because in my experience organic cotton tends to run small, and I was so glad I did. Pajamas should be snug fitting, never loose, but still with a little room to move. I always want Olivia to be comfortable, especially when she's sleeping. I know whenever she wears her Hello Sunday PJs, she'll get a restful night of sleep.

  1. My babe usually wears cotton print pjs. She's almost 18 months old and as it's been growing colder she's really enjoying wearing her pajama sets (we we're afraid she would be a nudist). I have some organic cotton clothing but haven't found and organic cotton pajamas. We would love these, it's such an adorable print... you have great taste.

  5. Our little definitely needs a new pair of pyjamas. With a new baby in the house, she's been a bit neglected in the fashion department. There's been far too many days where shirts show half her belly or she's sent out in unintentional capri pants. This sweet, soft set would be an excellent start in acknowledging her growing body and individuality.

  7. We primarily wear Carters footed pj's in our house! I LOVED the zippers WHEN Amelia was a baby because it was so much easier for middle of the night diaper changes! Now that she is a bit older and her thighs are a bit chubbier, snaps work better for us as they seem to have more leg frabric. I love the mix and match concept, but Amelia is like her mama and struggles to keep her socks on! I would worry her feet would freeze at night! I would LOVE to try these out to give mix and match a chance and open up a whole new window of pj's possibilities! We are going to start a tradition of opening new pj's on Christmas eve to wear that night and the reindeer print would be PERFECT!

  12. I usually buy whatever is softest and most comfortable for my son. And he's hitting a growth spurt, so he only has two pairs of pajamas that actually fit him anymore! These would be a PERFECT addition to his pj wardrobe!

  16. We've been wearing Carter's and gap pjs but I recently dyed all of baby's clothes and pjs pink by washing her laundry with a pair of purple Levi's. :( I love the cloud print and organic cotton is the best!
